CANCELLED: Long term VVC bus stop relocation

The scheduled Victor Valley Transit Authority long-term construction detour and bus stop relocation to begin next week at Victor Valley College has been cancelled.

VVC Spring 2018 Photo ID Cards are now accepted as fare

Effective immediately, VVTA will accept Victor Valley College (VVC) Spring 2018 Associated Student Body (ASB) and VVC Photo ID cards as free fare on all VVTA Fixed and County Route buses. Winter 2017 Photo ID Cards, which must have a Spring 2018 Sticker attached, will continue being accepted as fare. VVC Fall 2017 Photo ID Cards will not be accepted as after February 18.

VVTA will not operate on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Days

Due to the holidays, VVTA will not provide service Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 23, Christmas Day on Monday, December 25, and New Year’s Day on Monday, January 1. VVTA will operate its regular Sunday service schedule on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

VVC routes detour temporarily October 19 due to earthquake drill

All VVTA bus stops at Victor Valley College (VVC) will not be served between 8:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., October 19, 2017, due to campus participation in the Great California Shakeout earthquake drill. During this time, passengers should use the temporary bus stop on Francesca Road west of Spring Valley Parkway, which will serve routes 42, 43, 50, 50X, 53, and 55. At 1:16 p.m., all VVC bus stops will return to regular service.

Bus stop order at major transfer points realign Sunday, October 1

VVTA will modify the bus stop lineup order at the Victor Valley College (VVC) Transfer Point, the Victorville Transfer Point, and the Barstow Library Transfer Point. The realignment takes effect Sunday, October 1 and coincides with systemwide changes.
